Apple Event Today Live Blog

Looks like its a wrap!!!
No iWatch..
Friday Sept 20 for iPhone Purchase Day, as expected.

Available

The iPhone 5S pricing will remain the same!
16GB at $199. 32GB at $299 and 64GB at $399. Yes, on-contract.

It's called the Touch ID sensor. It's capacitive, 170 microns thin. 500ppi resolution, which is quite impressive. It can scan in 360 degrees, so you don't have to have the orientation right, and it can learn multiple fingers.
It is, yes, built right into the home button. It's still a physical button, that you need to push down, but there's a metal ring that senses your finger.

So, Apple's introducing TouchID, which uses your fingerprint. There it is, fingerprint sensor is confirmed!

The pixels are 1.5u in size to capture more light.
The camera app will automatically set the white balance and exposure before you even take a picture, as soon as you open the app.
A Dynamic Local Tone Map. Autofocus matrix metering. Just dropped the "SLR-level stuff" claim.
There's a "TrueTone" flash, which is all new.
"Whatever color your flash is it's going to clash with the color of the room and give you a color that doesn't look right." The flash is a dual-element, cool and amber. It offers 1,000 possible color temperatures!
There's a burst mode too, 10fps for as long as you hold your finger on the shutter. (This, presumably, is what it's doing in the background all the time.)

So far the camera is improved

It's just a little bit better than the iPhone 5. But this iPhone is faster.

Lets talk battery life

The M7: Chip Phil says this will enable a "whole new level" of fitness apps. The CoreMotion API in iOS 7 will be updated to characterize data, to let devs know whether you're walking, driving, etc.

The iPhone 5S is the first mobile device with a 64bit processor!

NOW on to the iPhone 5S!!! And it is coming in a chanpaign option!!!

It is official Apple is releasing a iPhone 5C

iOS 7 available for the following devices.

iOS 7 will be available for FREE September 18, 2013

So far nothing major to report. Apple is just talking about iOS7.
