Downgrade to iTunes 10.7 from iTunes 11.x

I love Apple but iTunes 10 was not broken so why the radical change? Radical software changes are not always good. Look at Microsoft with Windows I have not had any one of my clients say they like any other Windows besides XP. XP was the greatest operation system of all time. And once again I am an Apple lover but XP was unmatched so why such a drastic GUI change?

Let me get to it.. Do you want to revert to the latest iTunes before the iTunes 11 overhaul? Apple wont let you if you have already upgraded. I present to you the solution:

CAUTION: BACK UP YOUR MUSIC OR WHAT EVER MEDIA YOU HAVE IN iTUNES BECAUSE YOU MAY LOSE IT.. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
BACK UP THE ACTUAL MUSIC (i.e. The MP3 Files) NOT JUST THE LIBRARY.

This worked perfectly for me but, Perform at your own risk:

1) Uninstall iTunes 11 using AppZapper
The free version will be sufficient for this process.

2) Download 10.7 from this link:
http://appldnld.apple.com/iTunes10/0...iTunes10.7.dmg
Download Pacifist as well: http://www.charlessoft.com/
These are both free downloads. For Pacifist click the 'zip' link on their site.

3) Open the 10.7 dmg file, you will see the pkg file (usually double click to install), but this time drag it out to the desktop.

4) launch pacifist

5) Drag the pkg file to Pacifist and the click install from the menu bar.
NOTE: You may have to select the files in the lower half of the window to activate the install button.
6) During installation, click replace every time you are prompted.
(This is the key, some things can't be removed during uninstallation and will be replaced by 10.7 completely thanks to pacifist)

7) Installation finished, Welcome back iTunes 10.7 !!

NOTE: If you get the error about the 'iTunes Library.itl' file just do a search for the exact file name and delete it.. iTunes 10.7 will then launch normally. Any questions just ask..
